We are delighted to announce that Ringtons Tea & coffee is now opening retail stores for the first time.
We are currently in the process of building a new website that will introduce you to our brand new venture and will let you explore our full collection of traditional, exotic and rare products from around the world.

TEA & COFFEE SINCE 1907
Whilst the Ringtons Tea & Coffee store is brand new, the expertise behind it is steeped in experience and know-how.
The Ringtons story began in Newcastle in 1907 when founder Sam Smith began trading in tea, and delivering to customers’ homes via horse and cart. Over the last 99 years the business has continued to grow via this traditional distribution method and today serves 400,000 customers. Throughout this time the business has flourished through a focus on quality and service, and these values are central to everything that we do at Ringtons.
Our shops blend old fashioned service and quality in a modern architect designed environment. We offer every customer the chance to talk to our trained staff and to select their own favourite from over 200 different types of tea, fruit and herbal infusion, coffee and hot chocolate.
As you would expect from Ringtons we roast and blend everything in-house so that we know all of our teas, pure roast coffees and hot chocolates are free from any artificial flavourings, colours or preservatives.
We are members of the Ethical Trading Initiative and actively encourage ethical and organic farming. We are proud to say that over half our teas are now fully certified as organic.
To complete our collection we have also created luxury hot chocolate drinks, biscuits, preserves and chocolate; wherever possible all our products are hand-made in small family businesses from natural and organic sources. These, along with the ceramics, equipment and home ware products, make Ringtons a great place to visit for gift-buying. A selection of ready-made and bespoke hampers and baskets, plus gift wrapping options, all adds to the service.
